Dispatch

Matthews Roses are available for sale year round. Our usual dispatch day is Wednesday each week. (The week of Waitangi day, despatch will be Tuesday) Roses are potted from September to June and are despatched bareroot from June to August.  If you are planning on large numbers, it is a lot more economic to dispatch in winter because of freight costs. See our terms and conditions.

Substitution Policy for Rose Packs

When a Rose becomes unavailable, we will automatically supply an alternative of equivalent quality.  If more than one Rose per Pack is unavailable, we will ask for your instructions.

Rose Descriptions

All the roses listed are personally viewed by Bob or Cath to get an accurate as possible description. The fragrance is to what we smell which may differ from your nose.  If a description does not mention fragrance, it is because it has none. Photos are taken here on site in the nursery by Bob or Samantha Matthews.

Height

Again these are approximate to what they grow here in the nursery and will marginally differ in different regions.

1.8m Weeping Roses

We recommend you order these through our selected retailers (listed Stockists), as they are too big to freight direct. They are not listed on this website.
