Old Fashioned Climbers/Ramblers

ALBERIC BARBIER
Rambler: Clusters of double, creamy white flowers with a fruity fragrance. Almost evergreen, extremely disease free, with strong vigourous growth to 6-8m.

ALBERTINE Climber: Prolific flowers of coppery pink semi double blooms, fragrant. An extremely vigorous bush. An old favourite. Height 3-4m. Flowers mid-summer.

ALCHEMIST Climber: Richly fragrant, rosette shaped blooms over a long summer period. Beautiful double, quartered flowers opening salmon, deepening to apricot. Robust climber. Height 4m.
ALTISSIMO - Climber:
Large, single orange crimson with gold stamens. Eye-catching and always in flower. 5m.

CECILE BRUNNER Climber: Very soft pink, buttonhole type bloom. Very vigorous pillar type growth. Repeat flowering.

CREPUSCULE Rambler: Medium apricot double flowers borne freely on the spreading growth. Repeat flowering.

ENGLISH WEDDING DAY Rambler: Single, white flowers with yellow stamens, very strong grower and very fragrant.


GLOIRE DE DIJON - Noisette Climber:
Huge, quartered flat blooms of buff-yellow and hint of apricot. Grows 6meters. Extremely fragrant and likes a sheltered and warm position. Recurrent.

MADAM ALFRED CARRIERE Climber: Large, white with salmon-pink tinted flowers freely produced on this lovely "Old Rose". Very fragrant. Vigorous growing, disease free and reliable. Recurrent.

NEW DAWN Climber: Silvery-pink, richly fragrant flowers produced in clusters. Vigorous climber with glossy foliage. Recurrent.

PAUL TRANSON Rambler: Attractive formal close petaled, coppery orange flowers of medium size in small clusters. Flowers most of the season and again in autumn. Strong apple fragrance.

PHYLLIS BIDE Rambler: Small dainty flowers of lemon, salmon, pink and red. Delicately scented. Fairly vigorous plant to 4 metres. Recurrent.


VEILCHENBLAU - Perhaps the nearest to a true blue of any rose, with large sprays of small purplish-violet flowers with a white eye. One huge flush of flowers in mid summer. Almost thornless, very healthy foliage, a sweet fragrance, and does well even in a shady position.
 


SOUVENIR DE MME LEONIE VIENNOT - Flowers of Salmon Pink/apricot which are early and continuous. Recurrent. Fragrant. Very healthy foliage. 3 x 2m.
 

WEDDING DAY - Rambler: This climber has one annual flowering followed by a good crop of small to medium fruit. Buds are yellow opening to white, single fragrant blooms. They have orange stamens and appear in large clusters. Will grow 10 metres or more.

ZEPHIRINE DROUHIN Bourbon: Deep, rosy-pink blooms produced prolifically on thornless stems. Vigorous growing shrub. Richly fragrant. Recurrent.
